I have diverse experience leading teams across many different functions, which has included operations, lending, risk, compliance, assurance, digital, technology, analytics, film production and security.

I love bringing a team together to plan, implement and deliver on projects and initiatives that advance objectives. My background in risk helps me to inspire and champion predefined plays, so that strategies are delivered sooner, and better.

With an extensive background in implementing and managing enterprise risk management frameworks, I approach risk from a "strategy enablement" perspective, not just telling people what they cannot do - but utiising our risk appetite to accelerate growth.

Everyone has to comply with legislation, so I always look to consolidate compliance activities seamlessly in onboarding or client engagements, looping in reviewing a customer needs assessment as well. By building efficiency in compliance activities, we build a competitive advantage.

As with compliance, I seek to find ways to make internal/external audits. I aspire to not just pass an audit, but "be the best in industry".

I have a strong technical background having delivered applications and solutions using human-centered design and iterative approaches that have immediately increased efficiency and data integrity.

I have just enough experience across C#, javascript, asp.net, html, CSS and SQL to cause some damage, but this basic understanding helps to have better conversations with dev teams and outsourced technical functions.

I have a strong background in data, and have worked on multiple successful financial & customer data reconciliations and migrations. I have delivered insights that have improved and enhanced infromed decision making.

I have a natural affinity to automation and emerging technologies, and always advocate ways to include them in initiatives I work on.

I have led and contributed to configuration of WAF and firewalls, and take a proactive approach to cyber-security.

I have deployed and invoked in real life emergencies and crisis BCPs and DR plans that have successfully saved time and money by bringing BAU back to operating levels ASAP.

Just to confuse the situation more, I am also adept at film and video production, having produced, directed and edited multiple films, corporate videos and a cuple of YouTube series (before it was a "thing").
